D is for Domino

My little niece is now six and a half weeks old. She's such a cutie! Since I live quite close to my sister, I've been lucky to be able to follow my little niece growing up. I'm looking forward to the time, when she's a bit older and we can spend some quality time together. Read books, play games... like this wooden Domino I bought from flea market few months ago.

Nishimoto, no... Ishitomo, no... Last week I was trying to remember who is the artist of this card, that I have had almost 4 years now. Luckily Google is my friend... only few minutes and I had the name. Oh yes, that's the one! Yoshitomo Nara, a Japanese Pop artist. And, of course, Wikipedia tells all.

Spring Cleaning

My home needs a little spring clean! Windows are waiting to be washed, few closets needs to be re-organized and the whole place needs vacuuming sooner than later... At least some things are right there where they should be.

Maku

Butterfly lollipop... No, I haven't eaten it yet, but I promised to tell you something about it. The lollipop belonged to the invitation seen below.

Arabia held a press conference yesterday. They invited us to see their new kitchen collection Maku designed by young designer Sami Ruotsalainen. I like it, it's like old meets new! What do you think? Have a closer look and click on the picture!
