See You Next Year...

I hope I'm not ruining the holiday spirit that someone might still have by telling that today I'm going to take down all my christmas decorations. Well, there really isn't much to do because this year the decorating has been very minimal. Less is more I think... So, all my beautiful baubles and other ornaments, I'll see you again next year!

For all my christmas decorations it would be nice to have one big storage box with ornament trays. Something similar to the ones that The Container Store sells.

Only one night left before Santa comes so it`s time to turn the holiday mood on... There´s no snow on the ground so I hope Santa has wheels in his sleigh so that everyone can get their presents. I`ll be back in a few days, but before I go, I want to wish all of you a very merry Christmas!

I have to admit that I had forgotten it already, but nevertheless I think it is still kinda cool way to display those artistic snaps of your family, friends, holidays etc.

Mix It Up!

I have a new mixer in my kitchen. I´ve obviously been a good girl this year because a week ago I received this new Kenwood Hand Mixer from the new kMix range. Thank you for the lovely present!

I tested the mixer a week ago when my friends came over to celebrate the coming christmas. Yep, we were early this year! Last night I decided to test the mixer again and baked a chocolate cake to my mom to thank her for loaning me her cake pan (I know it sounds stupid but I don`t have my own cake pan). So, this time, instead of an empty cake pan I`m going to give her this delicious chocolate cake. Thanks for the cake pan loan, Mom!

P.S. The new Hand Mixer from Kenwood is Superb!

Well, that was quick! My new living room spotlights have already arrived. It took only four days! I bought two of them.

Greetings from Finland

We are living the darkest time of the year here in Finland but there is no need to get depressed. This being my first post I want to present you a beautiful lamp called TRE, by Finnish designer Elina Järvinen.

TRE is a lamp with two qualities that every lamp should have. It gives light without dazzling and it is visually pleasing with or without light. TRE lamps are made in Finland.
