Round And Round It Goes...

Look what I just found... What a cool space saver, especially for those with many or should I say countles pairs of shoes. Just spin the wheel and choose the pair of the day!

Shoe Wheel by Rakku Design is a mobile storage unit with 20 expandable pockets that can hold up to 30 pairs of shoes depending on the type.

Rakku Design has also a storage for the large footed men. The Shoe Pod accommodates sizes up to 14-plus and holds up to 12 pairs of shoes.

And for the kids there's a mini version of the Shoe Wheel, the Rakkiddo. The Rakkiddo can store up to 20 pairs of children's shoes depending on the type and size.

Almost... But Not Quite...

Anna from chocolate & Capri blue kindly reminded me, that I had forgotten Chest of Drawers by Tejo Remy for Droog, from my previous post. Well, it is true that all three of them (Assamblage, OTO100 and Chest of Drawers) are easy to separate and assemble. It's up to you how you use them and how you choose to assemble the shelf. But what comes to the Chest of Drawers... the drawers doesn't nest inside each other like the other two storage systems.

But like Anna said, the Chest of Drawers might be the ancestor of the other two storage systems. Chest of Drawers was designed 15 years ago, in 1993. Thanks Anna!

Like Two Peas In A Pod...

It's funny how sometimes you can find products with the same function and almost the same appearance. But what comes to the use of the product... there is always the winner, no doubt about it.

See You Next Year...

I hope I'm not ruining the holiday spirit that someone might still have by telling that today I'm going to take down all my christmas decorations. Well, there really isn't much to do because this year the decorating has been very minimal. Less is more I think... So, all my beautiful baubles and other ornaments, I'll see you again next year!

For all my christmas decorations it would be nice to have one big storage box with ornament trays. Something similar to the ones that The Container Store sells.
