Good Name...

Hi everybody! I'm still here, just been busy with work and school. This week I made a very big decision. It's finally time to set up my own business. I've been trying to figure out a good and catchy company name but it's not easy...

Everybody knows company called IKEA, no doubt about that! Name comes from the words Ingvar Kamprad (the name of the founder) Elmtaryd (the farm where he grew up) Agunnaryd (his home town). Well known name indeed! By the way... Have you seen this new sideboard? WOW!

TROLLSTA sideboard by IKEA.

Coming up with a name for your own business must be really hard! It's like giving a baby a name.

What ever you come up with, don't forget to make the Google test. ;)

It's sooooo hard... All the good ones are already taken :(

What Google test? What, what, what??

Google test is just to put the name you intend to have and check what Google says. Might come up with some surprises ;)

Oh... I thought that there's somekind of test I can make, and it will then give me some good name choices :D

Google tells me that all the names I come up with are already taken and so does YTJ, blaah...

Sorry, it doesn't do the job for you.

But you may try http://www.nameboy.com/, it gives you alternative options which might help. Only in English, though.

Congratulations with your big decision! Company naming sucks, yes. I could tell you a story about my husband's chosen company name and a car repair company with the same name who according to the registry also operates in the field of graphic design... 8c[

I, too, would like to give you the Blogging with a purpose award. I love your inspirational posts. :c)
